GeneralIntroduction From 16th till 19th June the fourth edition of the Plus Wandel4Daagse Alkmaar (Plus Walking Four Days of Alkmaar) will take place. At this event a great diversity of distances can be chosen. Every participant is free to choose a distance. The chosen distance needs to be walked every day. Regular walkers can choose between 7,5 - 15 - 25 - 35 - 45 kilometres per day. Nordic Walkers can choose between 7,5 - 15 - 25 kilometres per day. The mentioned distances can slightly differ per day. Le Champion deliberately offer the unique opportunity to choose for a shorter distance. In this way, also a big group of walkers, for who 25 kilometres is just too much, can enjoy this event. Of course Nordic Walking cannot be absent at this event. Especially for this group of walkers, routes of 7,5 - 15 and 25 kilometres are organised. The goal of this event is to socialize and to enjoy oneself in a sportive environment. This in combination with the beautiful routes which encounter the various aspects of the charming environment in and around Alkmaar. The catering for the participants will also take an important place in the organisation. In 2009 almost 6.000 participants enjoyed the Plus Wandel4Daagse Alkmaar, and in 2010 over 7.000 participants will be expected from all over the world. In short: the 4th Plus Wandel4Daagse Alkmaar should become a pleasant and unforgettable walking event and happening. |
